Risbygate Bridge logo

Bridge in some form or other has been played at Risbygate from the Club’s inception in 1930. An organised Bridge section was certainly in being in 1945 and it would therefore appear to be the earliest organised Bridge played in Bury St Edmunds.

The Bridge section currently has a membership in excess of 160 people and is a member of the English Bridge Union, as well as being affiliated to the Suffolk Contract Bridge Association.

Meetings are held as follows:

Mondays - 19:15hrs

    Duplicate Bridge to EBU rules

Tuesdays - 19:00hrs

Bridge the Gap - Duplicate Bridge for advanced improvers

Wednesday - 19:00hrs

Learn and Play Club for improvers

Thursdays - 19:00hrs

Chicago Bridge - easy fun Bridge
