The Risbygate Junior Tournament finals weekend was held in dreadful conditions, particularly on the Saturday. The very patient competitors accepted and made the best of the inclement weather, and thanks also to coach Marlene Joubert and her willing helpers for ensuring that the tournament was completed on schedule.
The results are opposite and photographs below.
The Floating Trophy for the most improved player, who displayed excellent team spirit and a very high attendance at coaching sessions, was a member of the Boys U14 Aegon League team, Tim Evans, who proudly accepted the trophy.
This was the 6th year of the Tournament under the guidance of Marlene Joubert. Marlene was very grateful to the parents who ensured that matches were played within the deadlines. There were 35 entries this season.
